Our story

Kris has worked in roofing since 2014, starting as a labourer and spending two full years earning his place on the crew before he was ever handed a nail gun — an old-school apprenticeship that taught him the trade from the ground up, and taught him respect for the people who carry the bundles.

Over the following decade he worked for several roofing companies across the region and co-owned one of his own. That partnership did not last, but it taught him as much about running a roofing business as it did about roofs. Wherever he worked, he saw the same pattern: leads going unanswered, jobs slipping through the cracks, and work quietly handed to the competition simply because nobody had a system.

After more than ten years on the roof — and with a body that reminds him of it every morning — Kris built RoofPulse to be the system he always wished his crews had: leads, jobs, aerial measurements, material orders, storm alerts and advertising in one place, with no marketing agency required.

Alicia has been alongside Kris since 2014 and has seen first-hand how unforgiving this industry can be — the missed calls, the estimates that never get followed up, and the physical toll the work takes on the people doing it.

With a background in retail and sales, she brings the customer-facing discipline roofing so often lacks: fast responses, clean follow-up and a homeowner experience that earns referrals instead of chasing them. Alicia leads customer experience, onboarding and support at RoofPulse.
